SYSTEM MAINTENANCE

System maintenance is very important if you want to achieve highest efficiency and reliability.

Every HVAC manufacturing company recommends to service Furnace once before heating season and Air Conditioner once before the summer. Proper maintenance performed in timely matter will help your system stay alive during hottest and coldest days of the year.

*  Full system evaluation.

*  Lubrication of applicable motors.

*  Replacement of 1″ Air Filter.

*  Charge Air Conditioner with Up to 1LB of R22 or R410A Freon.

*  Confirm Thermostat accuracy, calibrate if necessary.

*  Check evaporative coil for water leaks or visual signs of mold.

*  Seal off air leaks on evaporative coil, plenum and base.

*  Inspect blower motor and wheel for vibration and debris.

*  Check return vents for obstructions.

*  Record supply and return temperature before and after.

*  Check the drain line for proper draining, blow out the line if necessary.

*  Inspect and tighten all electrical connection at A/C and Fuse box.

*  Visual inspection of all accessible heat exchanger.

*  Test for Carbon Monoxide around the furnace and at the vents.

*  Seal off air leaks around evaporative coil, plenum and base.

*  Confirm Thermostat accuracy, calibrate if necessary.

*  Inspect blower motor and wheel for vibration and debris.

*  Clean up (send down) flame sensor.

*  Test flue exhaust for proper draft.

*  Check for flame roll out.

*  Check gas supply line if meets earthquake requirements.

*  Remove and clean burners and heat exchanger compartments.

*  Test all accessible connections for gas leak.

*  Inspect integrity of return platform, insure it meets safety standards.

*  Check for proper angle (90*) of Furnace and Evap Coil assembly.
